Hello all!
First of all, we’d like to thank everyone for voting for the t-shirt designs. We also wish to thank those who have provided us with feedbacks and suggestions.
And it is thus our pleasure to announce that we will be printing the top three designs - Marx, Durkheim and Cooley. In addition to this, we are also including a mosaic design.

(images not drawn to scale)
However, to ensure the cost-effectiveness of the printing of the t-shirts, we will need a minimum of 30 orders for each design. In the event that the minimum of 30 orders is not met for any particular design(s), that design(s) will then be called off. We will contact those who are affected by the call-off and make other arrangements if possible.
The t-shirt will cost $15 each, and is available in WHITE cotton (with the design in black).
To order, kindly send us your orders to

Dear all,
It has come to the committee's attention that there are some concerns about the suitability of the Socitees as representations of our club and Sociology as a whole.
I believe the whole issue may have been caused by a slight misunderstanding and we sincerely apologise for that.
The Socitees are not meant to be club T shirts nor are they meant to represent Sociology. The idea for the Socitees was put forth as a creative means to raise funds for our club without having to collect membership fees. The committee felt that producing T shirts with various sociological thinkers on them would interest our fun and trendy sociology students, in no way did we intend for them to disrespect the thinkers.
We do however welcome your comments and we will do our best to address your concerns, for ultimately this is OUR club and not just the committee's. While we do encourage discussion on our tagboard I do hope that users will respect each other's views and refrain from any hurtful comments.
Jason:)
