Dear NTUSS Members,

The candidates for the by-elections are out!

They are as follows:

Co - President

Gabriel Lee

Gabriel is a 3rd Yr Sociology Major who intends to serve as a Co-President in the 3rd EXCO. He believes in serving the student body - sociology majors in particular. Gabriel has served in the 2nd NTUSS EXCO as the Welfare Officer, in addition to being a Welfare sub-committee member in the 1st NTUSS EXCO.

"I believe that I have the desire to serve the school Community as Co-President of the NTUSS and
because I have previously served in different capacities in the NTUSS Main Committee and Sub-Committee."

Honorary General Secretary

Toh Jia En

Jia En is a 2nd Yr Sociology Major who wishes to serve as a Hon. Gen Sec. in the 3rd Main Committee. Other than being passionate to serve the student body, she feels that NTUSS lays the foundation for action.

"I'm organized and meticulous. I represented my secondary school in multimedia competitions like film-making and website design. The experience developed my ability to complete tasks that involve fine details. I was in block management subcomm. and hall choir last year, so I can work in a group well."

Treasurer

Elaine Yip

Elaine is a 2nd Yr Sociology Major that is keen to serve as a Treasurer in the 3rd Main Committee of NTUSS. She has experiences in several leadership positions and decides to run for the Treasurer role as she believes her meticulous nature can be brought to the best use.

"I would like to be more involved in the Sociological scene in NTU as well as be able to participate more directly in the organization of events..I have proven to be one that is determined, practical and reliable."
