Dear teachers, students and friends,
Dr Geoffrey Benjamin has been a much respected teacher of sociology, a beloved mentor and colleague to many. Dr. Benjamin turns 70 years this year and will officially retire from formal teaching this June. In the spirit of respect and learning, students and faculty of the Division of Sociology at NTU are organising a special commemorative event to celebrate Dr Benjamin's outstanding contributions to teaching and scholarly research. We hope you will be able to join us in this special occasion.

6.15pm: Reception and music performance by Dr Benjamin
7.00pm: Introduction and salutations
7.15pm: Lecture by Dr Benjamin, followed by Q&As
8.30pm: Sharing by colleagues and students of Dr Benjamin
8.45pm: Reception
