We are pleased to inform you that recruitment for the 2^nd NTUSS Management Committee is now on!

NTU Sociological Society is a new and growing society. If you are ready for the fun, the challenges, and want to make a difference, PLEASE JOIN US as a main committee member. It will be your life-time experience (we promise!!!), and not to mention a chance to earn some ECA points too!

Nominations will be held this coming Thursday (20 August 2009), between 9am and 5pm, at the HSS Student Lounge.

The following positions are open:

CO-PRESIDENT (2 vacancies)

HONORARY GENERAL SECRETARY (1 vacancy)

TREASURER (1 vacancy)

BUSINESS MANAGER (1 vacancy)

LIAISON OFFICER (1 vacancy)

WELFARE SECRETARY (1 vacancy)

HEAD PROJECTS CO-ORDINATOR (1 vacancy)

PUBLICITY MANAGER (1 vacancy)

Candidates running for Main Committee positions are required to come with 2 NTUSS members (all Sociology Majors are NTUSS members by default), one as a nominator and the other as a seconder.

** Please note that one member can only act as nominator/seconder ONCE.

** Election committee members cannot nominate candidate(s).

Kindly fill in the nomination form (link below) and submit the hardcopy (with photo attached) to our Election Committee members at HSS Lounge, 20^th August 2009, between 9am and 5pm.

After successful nomination, each candidate is required to deliver a speech at the Election Rally, to be held on 25th August (Tues) 6pm, exact venue to be confirmed. It will be your chance to introduce yourself as well as your visions to NTUSS members, and win their votes J
